Spain is still a place where you can find some incredible wines at great prices. Below are 2 of my go-to wines from Spain for under $20.
Marques de Murrieta, Reserva, Rioja 2012
This one is about $19 per bottle, but it’s drinking like a $50 wine. A crowd pleaser, this well-balanced wine is a blend of several Spanish grape varieties— mainly Tempranillo and Garnacha and Graciano.
Fresh berries and herb aromas makes this wine appealing from the get-go. It has a nice long finish, as well.
Borsao “Tres Picos” Garnacha, Campo de Borja 2014
This wine is only $13 and year after year is sought out for it consistency. It’s 100% Granache.
Blackberry and other ripe dark berries with smokey tones will hit you right
away. It’s a “juicy,” big wine, perfect for BBQs. and it won’t clean out your bank
I hope you enjoy these. both can be found at my favorite wine store: K&L WINES
